A Fine Mess
Bombadil – “Tarpits and Canyonlands”

Whimsical folk-rock band Bombadil are releasing their excellent new record Tarpits and Canyonlands today, which you can buy at the official website or at iTunes.
Besides being filled with great songs, the album’s artwork is quite a treat as well: not only does it have lovely illustrations but also a beautiful short story. It’s a result from a special collaboration with the Idiots’ Books press where the record will be a part of their monthly book series along with the story.
As for the record itself, it is said to be “a joyful document that celebrates all the flaws and sorrows of the human condition while capturing the whimsy, spirit, and charm that has enabled the band to win over fan after fan on a relentless four-year tour.”
