The Los Angeles Dodgers are World Series Champions for the 2024 Major League Baseball (MLB) season.
It was a historic post-season for the world’s most attended sports team as LA’s favorite side had to battle Southern Californian rivals San Diego Padres, and the two most expensive teams in baseball from “The Big Apple”.
However, the season truly began in the off-season when the Dodgers made big moves adding Japanese stars Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, as well as other key players like Dominican (DR) Teoscar Hernández and American Tyler Glasnow.
With stars like Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Kiké Hernández, Walker Buehler, Clayton Kershaw, Max Muncy, Will Smith, Miguel Rojas, and Gavin Lux all returning having finished 2023 as the top regular season team with 100 wins, Chavez Ravine looked poised for an even more illustrious season.
Spring training started off with a bang as the Dodgers scored 8 runs in the 1st inning on February 22nd in a 14-1 route of the Padres at Peoria Sports Complex in Arizona. LA would finish the pre-season with a 13-5-1 record.

The regular season began early for Los Angeles and San Diego as the two NL West sides met in Seoul, South Korea at the Gocheok Sky Dome on March 20th and 21st. LAD would win the first game 5-2 and split the overseas trip 1-1 with a later loss. A week later, the Dodgers would host the St. Louis Cardinals on Opening Day at Dodger Stadium, where Los Angeles won 7-1, and then would go on to win the opening series 2 games to 1.

The March/April slate slowed Dodger-mania down a bit as LA sat at a mortal 19-13 record. However, given the record-setting seasons the previous 2 seasons that ended in divisional series losses in the playoffs, the Blue side of the LA Metro Area were less concerned about regular season exploits and more concerned about how the team would fare in the playoffs. Nevertheless, the team still needed to excel to qualify for their 12th playoff appearance in a row!

By the end of a 17-10 May, the Dodgers sat at 36-23. This record showed consistency needed to finish on top of the division again, but it was not going to be easy. While the Colorado Rockies seemed uncompetitive, the San Francisco Giants, San Diego Padres, and Arizona Diamond Backs all seemed poised for a mid-season streak and were within striking distance of catching up.

The first two months of summer-time baseball saw the Dodgers go 16-10 and 11-13 for a 63-46 record, which kept the NL West race close with the Diamond Backs and Padres keeping pace.

The Playoffs always seemed secure, but there were hints of worry given that many injuries began to plague Dodger-nation, the National League were excelling, and other NL West sides began their ascent to catching up to the first place Dodgers. The second worry was probably the most insecure because the New York Mets, Atlanta Braves, and Philadelphia Phillies were all so hot that they helped match the NL East to the NL West and made the Wildcard race close for even the Dodgers.
Thus, the last two months of the season brought about a deep focus from the pre-season’s World Series favorites!
LAD would finish 19-8 in the month of August to get to 82-54, taking control of the NL with a two game lead over the Philadelphia Phillies and Milwaukee Brewers, plus a healthy five game lead over NL West rivals Padres and a six game lead over the Diamond Backs. There was now greater breathing distance between the bottom of the Wildcard race and LA, and fans increasingly began to plan their personal Playoff strategies.

After all, Los Angeles had been arguably the best team the past 8 seasons, but only had 1 World Series victory to show for it. This was a club with 14 runners-up finishes and they desperately wanted to win the Major Leagues again.
Meanwhile, the American League were having less excellent play a lot of the season especially in the AL West, but then the Dodgers’ nemesis Houston Astros started to dominate in August with an 18-10 month to get to 74-62. Meanwhile, the New York Yankees, Cleveland Guardians, and the Baltimore Orioles continued their quest for the top MLB regular season record, sitting three to five games behind the Dodgers. The AL Wildcard race included many more teams than the NL as the record to get in was closer to .500.
The Dodgers were aware of these developments, but stayed focus, clinching a playoff berth in a September 19th 20-4 win over the Miami Marlins at LoanDepot Park in Florida (91-62), before a home 7-2 victory over the Padres a week later that clinched LA the NL West title! The Dodgers closed out the regular season on September 29th with a three win series sweep in Denver at Coors Field over the Colorado Rockies to finish 16-10 in September and 98-64 overall!

LAD were first in the National League West, National League, and Major League Baseball standings which meant home field advantage all the way to the World Series.
But, all realities exist in context and the hidden truth was that the new MLB Playoff system of first round byes for the top two seeded sides in the AL and NL, plus the Dodgers’ recent playoff failures, and the Dodgers’ long injury list meant that LA opened up as underdogs against rivals Padres in the NL Divisional Series according to the experts.
Even LA-based pundits had the Padres eliminating the Dodgers as San Diego was “the best team in baseball” with their best month coming in September. While the Dodgers continued to lead the league in overall attendance and average attendance with a staggering 3,941,251 fans entering Dodger Stadium for a 48,657 average, it was the Padres who dominated in percentage capacity with an over 100% of attendance to capacity ratio.
Deemed the Train or Amtrack Series by some, and the Surfliner Series by the cool people, this proved to be a very tough test.
The Dodgers hosted Game 1 on October 5th and immediately went down 0-3 after 1 inning. Luckily, LA flipped this to a 3-3 game after 2, but then SD would go up 5-3 after 3. Pitching was the biggest concern and the reason the Dodgers were not favored because of many injuries to key players like Kershaw, so a 5 runs through 3 innings were very concerning! Yet, the Dodgers found a way to bounce back in the 4th inning with 3 runs, adding another run in the 5th to secure a 7-5 victory and 1-0 series lead.

Game 2 put the doubt into the forefront though as the Padres would win 10-2 to even up the series at 1-1.
Now the series shifted down south near the Mexican border where the Padres expected record-setting attendances and crowd levels to close out the 5-game series at Petco Park.
The Dodgers and Padres had become fierce rivals as of late with both franchises now being perennial playoff teams with marquee players. Furthermore, with the loss of the Chargers to Los Angeles, now San Diego’s sports-scene had shifted entirely to the Padres with an extra emphasis of LA-hatred. So, the thought of needing to win in San Diego to keep World Series dreams alive seemed very slim.
Game 3 opened up with a 1-0 Dodger lead through the 1st, but then saw a San Diego onslaught of 6 runs in the 2nd! LA scored 4 back in the 3rd, but this would not be enough as the rest of the game was a shutout for both clubs and the Padres won 6-5 and took the 2-1 series advantage.
The Dodgers were now down to the brink of elimination and everything seemed to be crashing down.
Game 4 opened up with another 1-0 Dodger lead that they would add onto in the 2nd and 3rd as well for a 5-0 lead. Los Angeles seemed comfortable in the last 6 innings scoring 3 more runs in the 7th to win 8-0 and create a NL Divisional Series Game 5 finale back at Dodger Stadium.

Game 5 on October 11th was intense as the Dodgers opened up with a 1-0 lead after 2 innings, but the score stayed this way until the 7th inning when LA added another home run to create a more comfortable 2-0 lead. The Dodgers finished off their opposition with this final score to take the NLDS series 3-2!

Unfortunately for Los Angeles, the next side would be the hottest team in baseball, the New York Mets who had finished the last four months with a 65-40 record. On top of that, the Mets had the world’s most expensive roster and had the backing of a large fan base desperate for a World Series to break out from the Yankee shadow in New York City.
Again, many of the pundits picked the Mets because they were healthier and playing better baseball, having gotten through two playoff series due to their appearance in the NL Wildcard Series round.
The Los Angeles Dodgers hosted Game 1 of the National League Championship Series on October 13th with a 9-0 victory having gone up 3-0 after the first 2 innings and never looking back. The Dodgers seemed to have figured out their pitching troubles with three straight shutouts, or so they thought.

Game 2 was another story as the Mets scored 6 runs in 2 innings in route to a 7-3 victory to make the series 1-1.
The NLCS now headed across the country to Citi Field where the Mets could close out the series with 3 home wins. The advantage had immediately switched to the Mets’ favor.
The Dodgers were desperate for a good performance and got one in Game 3, scoring 2 runs in the 2nd and 6th, and then 3 runs in the 8th and 1 run in the 9th to win 8-0 and take a 2-1 series lead..

Game 4 was much tighter at the beginning with a 1-1 score after 1, and a 3-2 Dodger lead after 3. Yet, LAD kept scoring while NYM stopped and the Dodgers added 2 runs in the 4th and 6th, and then 3 runs in the 8th to win 10-2 and take a 3-1 series lead.

Los Angeles now held the advantage looking to close out the series in Game 5, but the Mets had other plans. The Mets opened up with a 3-0 lead through 1, then a 8-1 lead through 3, and a 10-2 lead through 4, eventually winning 12-6 after a late LA surge to extend the series back to LA with the Dodgers up 3-2.
The Dodgers opened up Game 6 with a 2-1 lead through 1, a 6-1 lead through 3, and then would eventual trade blows the rest of the game to win 10-5, winning the series 4-2 to win the National League Championship and earn a berth to the World Series.

Yet, the task became tougher once again for the illustrious New York Yankees would be the opposition.
The Yankees had been the Dodgers archenemies going back a hundred years. Originally, the two had been local rivals with the Dodgers hailing from the Brooklyn borough and the Yankees hailing from The Bronx. The two would never play, but they battled it out for fan support and player recruitment as Brooklyn was a NL team and the Yankees were an AL team.
At first, both sides could not win a World Series for the first 20 years, but then the Yankees became elite in 1923 winning their first, and then adding 7 more before the 1940s. All of a sudden, the Yankees surpassed the Dodgers and all other ball clubs from the area to become the best MLB side historically and never looked back.
The Dodgers attempted to start their own streak making their first World Series in over 20 seasons in 1941, only to lose to the Yankees 1 game to 4. Their two previous attempts were losses to the present-day Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Guardians in the 1910s. The Yankees would meet the Dodgers again in 1947, 1949, 1952, and 1953 winning all of these World Series, 4-3, 4-1, 4-3, and 4-2 respectively.
It was also during this time that the baseball and wider professional sports world began a nationalization campaign across the USA leading to the trend of re-location, especially if a certain city had more than 1 team. In New York City’s case, they had three.
So, rumors began circling that the Dodgers were heading for Los Angeles to drive up revenue and interest for the sport nationwide as no West Coast MLB side existed.
This added an extra flame to this rivalry as Brooklyn’s defeats and financial difficulties would be tied to the rising myth of the unstoppable Yankees with 16 titles! After all, who would choose to root for the Dodgers if the nearby Yankees were winning World Series every other season?
Luckily, Jackie Robinson and the historic 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers turned the tide with a remarkable 2-0 Game 7 away victory to bring the Dodgers its first World Series title in a 4-3 series win.
While the franchise gained immeasurable experience from this result, the business side of sports showed little loyalty as the Dodgers would move after the 1957 season to Los Angeles, having lost one more World Series in 1956 to the Yankees 3-4. Now, the club would be called the Los Angeles Dodgers, dropping the historic B logo for the iconic LA logo.
The first 4 seasons saw the Dodgers play out of the football and track and field stadium, the 1932 Olympics Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
The popularity of the Dodgers in Los Angeles was a hit right away with great crowd support and good play. The first game at the Coliseum saw over 78,000 fans cheer on LA’s new team against San Francisco’s new team that also came from New York, the Giants. The Dodgers won that game 6-5.
The Dodgers would win their first World Series in Los Angeles in 1959 after a 4-2 series win over the Chicago White Sox.
Dodgers Stadium would be completed in 1962 to host the Los Angeles Dodgers and by 1963, the Dodgers were World Series Champions once again after a 4-0 series victory over the New York Yankees.
The LA Dodgers would win another World Series 4-3 over the Minnesota Twins in 1965, before dropping two World Series 0 games to 4 to the Baltimore Orioles in 1966 and 1 games to 4 to the Oakland Athletics in 1974.
The Dodgers’ World Series woes continued in 1977 and 1978 when the Yankees won 4-2 in both series.
Los Angeles would respond in 1981 when Fernandomania took over and the Dodgers would defeat the Yankees 4 games to 2, and would close out the 1980s winning the 1988 World Series 4 games to 2 over the Oakland Athletics.
But, this is where the story would end for the Dodgers for many seasons, a record of 6-12 in World Series compared to their old local rivals Yankees who continued to win until 2009 going 27-13.
Despite the Dodgers having existed since 1883 compared to the Yankees 1902 founding, despite the Dodgers having the biggest baseball stadium in the world, being the second most popular baseball team to the Yankees, and having the greatest home and away fan support in the league, the Dodgers failed to make head-waves for many years.
The Dodgers would fail to make many playoffs, and would only make the NLCS again in 2008 and 2009 only to lose to the Phillies. After another playoff drought, the Dodgers began their current playoff streak in 2013.
Since then, the Los Angeles Dodgers have been the most consistent regular season team, yet have had tremendous heartache in the playoffs.
They lost in the NLCS in 2013 and 2016, before getting to the World Series in 2017 and 2018 where they lost 3 games to 4 to the Houston Astros and 1 games to 4 to the Boston Red Sox.
Finally, the Dodgers got their long awaited 7th World Series title in 2020 after defeating the Tampa Bay Rays 4 games to 2, but it was during COVID-19 in a shortened season in neutral stadiums with no fans and no parade after. It was a major accomplishment, but did not feel as good as it should have.
The Dodgers followed this season up with a 106 win season, a 111 win season, and a 100 win season, but would lose in the NLCS and the NLDS twice.
This meant the 2024 World Series was one to re-write the history books and change the identity of the Dodgers’ organization, especially in relation to the Yankees.
These two sides are the most popular teams, but only one has capitalized on this success with the most World Series, while the other often squanders away great chances.
Game 1 was intense and saw a 0-0 shutout game through 4 and a half innings. But, the Dodgers would open up the scoring in the 5th Inning after Kike Hernández hit a triple and then Will Smith drove him home for a run on a sacrifice fly RBI to put the Dodgers up 1-0. This lead was short-lived though as the Yankees took the lead 2-1 in the 6th Inning after a Giancarlo Stanton 2-run home run. Luckily, the Dodgers were able to claw back in the 8th Inning when Shohei Ohtani got a double and then reached third base on a throwing error, which allowed Mookie Betts to send him home for a run on a sacrifice fly RBI to tie the game up at 2-2.
The game headed into extra innings with the Yankees scoring first on a fielder’s choice after Anthony Volpe grounded into an RBI out and sent Jazz Chisholm, Jr. home for a run from third base to put the Yankees up 3-2.
The Dodgers came back in the bottom of the 10th Inning after an out as Gavin Lux reached first on a walk and Tommy Edman reached first and sent Lux to second on an infield single. This brought up Shohei Ohtani to win the game, but sadly he got out after a pop up into foul territory. After some pitching changes and Mookie Betts getting intentionally walked to load the bases, Freddie Freeman came to the plate with 2 outs. All it took was 1 pitch and Freddie Freeman hit the ball deep and over the fence for a walk-off grand slam home run as the Dodgers won 6-3 in Game 1! Freeman accomplished the first walk-off grand slam in World Series history!

Game 2 started off much better for the Dodgers as Tommy Edman hit a solo home run in the 2nd Inning to put the Dodgers up 1-0.
This lead did not hold though as Juan Soto would respond with a solo home run in the next inning for the Yankees to tie the game at 1-1.
The bottom of the 3rd Inning was electric for the Dodgers after Mookie Betts reached base for Teoscar Hernández would send him home on a 2-run home run, followed by a solo home run by Freddie Freeman to extend the score to 4-1!
Yohinobu Yamamotu had a stellar game as well going 6 and 1/3 innings giving up 1 hit and 1 run.
The Dodgers held on to this score until the top of the 9th when Yankees Juan Soto got a single and then advanced to second base on a wild pitch. After Aaron Judge was struck out, Giancarlo Stanton came to the plate and drove in Soto for a run to lessen the lead to Dodgers 4 Yankees 2. Next, Jazz Chisholm Jr. singled and then Anthony Rizzo was hit by a pitch.
It was bases loaded. Luckily, Dodgers’ pitcher Blake Treinen struck out Anthony Vulpe for the second out. Nevertheless, Dodgers’ manager Dave Roberts decided to sub him out for Alex Vesia who got pinch hitter Jose Trevino to fly out for the final out of the game as the Dodgers won 4-2 to go up 2 games to 0 in the World Series!

Despite all the momentum that would be expected from a 2-0 series lead, LA was cautious to celebrate too much as star player Shohei Ohtani had injured himself at the end of Game 2.
While Ohtani was reported to be playing Game 3, no one knew what to expect and if LAD were telling the truth.
Well, Ohtani did come to play and led off to bat in Game 3 at Yankee Stadium in The Bronx, New York City, New York.
Yankee Stadium for many is the “Home of Baseball”, the place where the greatest sports team ever created was founded and excelled. Of course, this is a biased take, but for the baseball world, these were sacred grounds.
Thus, many expected the Yankees to respond well winning either 2 of 3 or all 3 of their home games that were coming in back to back to back days.
And, with Ohtani out, the balance of powers tipped toward the Pin Stripes.
However, Ohtani was not to be outdone. He walked on the opening pitch to get to first base with an injured shoulder/arm as he had to hug his hurt left arm to his uniform to drive away pain without the bat. Following an out, Freddie Freeman came to the plate and drove in a 2-run home run over the right field fence to put the Dodgers up 2-0! He had now tied the World Series record for most consecutive home runs in World Series games at 5!
In the 3rd Inning after Tommy Edman had reached second base, Mookie Betts came to the plate and hit a ball into the air, but short and just on the inside of the right foul ball line to drive in Edman for a run and make the score Dodgers 3 Yankees 0.
The Yankees nearly pulled 1 back in the 4th Inning when Anthony Vulpe hit a ball into left field on 2 outs with Giancarlo Stanton at 2nd base, but a miraculous throw by Teoscar Hernández allowed Will Smith to catch the ball and tag Stanton in time for the third out of the inning!
Dodgers’ pitcher Walker Buehler would come off after the 5th Inning having given up 0 runs on only 2 hits and 2 walks to help preserve a LA 3-0 lead.
In the top of the 6th Inning, Gavin Lux had gotten to third base with just one out for LA. Kiké Hernández came to the plate and hit the ball low and on the ground between the second basemen and shortstop into the outfield for an RBI single getting Lux home safely for a run to put the former Brooklyn-based club up 4-0!
The fireworks back in LA could not be lighted up yet though as the Yankees once again made a 9th Inning surge, this time on Michael Kopech as the Yankees Alex Verdugo hit a 2-run home run. But, Dave Roberts trusted Kopech to stay in and would later get NYY’s Gleyber Torres to ground out to Tommy Edman who made a 360 degree turn and threw it to Freddie Freeman for the final out of Game 3 leading the Dodgers to a 4-2 win and a 3-0 World Series lead!

Game 4 began with another 2-run home run from Freddie Freeman who this time brought Mookie Betts home too to put LA up 2-0 in the 1st Inning. But, the Yankees responded quickly with an RBI by Alex Verdugo to get Anthony Vulpe home to lessen LA’s lead to 2-1.
In the bottom of the third inning, the Yankees were able to get three men on base leading to an Anthony Vulpe grand slam to put the Yankees up 5-2 after 3.
The Dodgers came roaring back in the 5th Inning when Will Smith hit a solo home run and then Tommy Edman was able to reach third base with Ohtani on first base following a single. An out on Mookie Betts brought in Freddie Freeman who hit the ball into what appeared to be a double play! However, after video review, it became apparent that Freeman had reached first base just before the ball got into the Yankees’ first baseman’s mit. Thus, the Dodgers scored again as Edman had come home for a run. LA was now down just 4-5.
The Yankees Austin Wells would hit a solo home rune in the 6th Inning to extend NY’s lead to 6-4.
While the game remained tense, that all ended in the 8th Inning when the Yankees scored 5 runs, including a 3-run home run, to extend the Yankees lead to 11-4.
The Dodgers’ World Series lead now sat at 3-1.
While Los Angeles remained confident that their cherished Dodgers would win the World Series, worries began to brew as the Yankees key hitters like Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, Giancarlo Stanton, and their lower lineup batters like Anthony Vulpe and Alex Verdugo were now picking up steam.
Would an injury-filled Dodgers lineup be able to curb the Yankees’ momentum?
It was now time for Game 5 on a Wednesday October 30th night in The Bronx for the last World Series matchup for the year in New York. The series would either be won by the Dodgers or it would head back to Los Angeles for Game 6 and a possible Game 7.
The worries of Dodgers’ fans came true immideately following a Juan Soto walk in the first inning as the next pitch, Aaron Judge hit the ball deep over the right field fence for a two-run home run putting NYY up 2-0! Then, Jazz Chisholm Jr. added another home run for a 3-0 Yankees’ lead. The 2nd Inning saw Anthony Vulpe hit a double, and then Alex Verdugo hit an RBI to bring Vulpe home for a run and 4-0 New York lead.
Substitutions had to be made at pitcher and this continued to be the trend for the Dodgers the rest of the night as they wanted to keep players healthy and ready to play for the rest of the series if need be, but also wanted to provide uncertainty and extra energy for each defensive at bat to manage the score and keep LA within striking distance.
Giancarlo Stanton extended the Yankees’ lead in the 3rd Inning with a solo home run to put NY up 5-0.
The Dodgers held true to the game plan and mounted a comeback in the 5th Inning.
Finally, Kiké Hernández was able to break the Gerrit Cole Yankee wall with a hit into the outfield over the top of the jumping second baseman for a leadoff single. Then, Tommy Edman hit a ball into center-field which should have been a routine out, but Aaron Judge dropped the ball advancing both runners to first and second bases respectively with 0 outs.
Will Smith came to the plate and batted a ball in between second and third base, but Anthony Vulpe made a throwing error trying to get the force out at third, leading to all three Dodgers being safe with bases loaded and 0 outs.
Unfortunately, Gerrit Cole was able to strike out Gavin Lux and Shohei Ohtani making it two outs in the 5th. Mookie Betts came to plate and hit a ball to the first basemen who was inside and near the outfield grass. Betts sprinted to first base and Gerrit Cole did not run with him and the Yankees’ first baseman did not go to first base. This allowed for Kiké to score and for all Dodgers’ runners to be safe with bases loaded again; Dodgers 1 Yankees 5.
Freddie Freeman came to the plate and hit a two-run RBI single into air through the second base gap and into the outfield to score Edman and Smith; Dodgers 3 Yankees 5.
Teoscar Hernández came to the plate next and hit a deep ball over Aaron Judges head to the warning track and the ball bounced off the wall and went right up into the air as Betts and Freeman got to home plate to score two more runs; Dodgers 5 Yankees 5.
The Los Angeles Dodgers were now tied in Game 5 with one eye on the World Series trophy.
However, by the 6th Inning, the Yankees had taken the lead once again to go up 6-5 on a Giancarlo Stanton deep sacrifice fly that sent in Jazz Chisholm Jr. to home plate from third base for a run.
Yet, the favors turned LA’s way once again in the 8th Inning. Kiké Hernández started things off with a single to the outfield on a line drive in the air that found the ground. Then, Tommy Edman hit a ball on the ground that broke his bat and made it into the outfield only for it to be stopped by the shortstop on a dive; still it was another single and both runners advanced. Then, Will Smith would be walked to load the bases with 0 outs.
After a pitching substitution, Gavin Lux came to the plate and hit a deep ball into center field that was caught, but still scored a run on a tag up from Kiké Hernández; Dodgers 6 Yankees 6. In addition, Tommy Edman tagged up to third base allowing for another potential sacrifice fly.
Shohei Ohtani came to the plate next and when he was going for a hit, the catcher interfered as the glove hit Ohtani’s bat. This allowed for Ohtani to advance to first base and now for the bases to once again be loaded.
Mookie Betts came on next and hit another deep ball into center field, almost near the warning track, allowing for Tommy Edman to tag up from third base and reach home plate for another run to put the Dodgers ahead; Dodgers 7 Yankees 6!
But, a scare came in the bottom of the 8th Inning when two Yankees had reached base with one out and Giancarlo Stanton at the plate. Blake Treinen pitched it and got Stanton to fly out to the left field to Betts who ran up to catch the ball and throw it to stop any taggers from advancing. Then, Treinen got a strike out on Anthony Rizzo to close the inning with three outs.
Walker Buehler came on in the bottom of the 9th Inning to close out the game. Buehler first got Vulpe to ground out to third base and Max Muncy threw the ball to Freddie Freeman and first base for the force out. Then, Buehler was able to strike out Austin Wells on the next at bat after a full count for out number two. And then, Buehler was able to throw a low ball near the dirt to Alex Verdugo who swung and missed for out number three as Will Smith tagged Verdugo on the back just to make sure the out was recorded.
The Los Angeles Dodgers had won the 2024 World Series with a 7-6 game five win and a 4 games to 1 series win!

The Los Angeles Dodgers earned their franchise 8th World Series victory in front of their former in-city rivals and rival borough in the ultimate comeback fashion.
The 2024 Dodgers will now have their first World Series parade since 1988 and the article will be updated following this event.
